The club, which was originally named Beeline Trap and Skeet opened in the 1960’s. In 1991 the club was sold and the new owners changed it’s name to Red Mountain Trap & Skeet. On February 13, 1993 a fire destroyed the club’s facilities. New facilities were constructed across the highway and Red Mountain Trap & Skeet reopened on December 7, 1993. Today the club is owned and operated by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. It is the only club in the nation owned by an Indian Community to throw registered targets. |
