There are endless styles of AR15 and many ways to make your AR15 to work for what you want it to do. Here are three AR15 SBRs that have been built to be the perfect tool for their various tasks; Long range & Short range in one rifle, A rugged all environment AR15, and a CQB / home defense rifle.

In various environments these dark earth, tan, sand and coyote accessories do a great job of helping these rifles disappear. More information on dark earth colored AR15 furniture can be found here; Tan AR15 Furniture

The shorter barrel on these SBRs allows them to be carried and used much more conveniently than their longer siblings. The extra few inches that is removed from these rifles takes very little away from accuracy and stopping power

| Noveske CQB M4 Carbine in 5.56x45 with a 10.5" barrel |
Long range accuracy and close quarters ability in one rifle. This one features a Krink Flash Hider at the muzzle which greatly reduces the blast/concussion of the short barrel. One of its greatest virtues is the ability to throw much of the noise out away from the shooter/team members. It also increases the back-pressure, thus aiding with reliability.

The rifle has a Schmidt and Bender Short Dot scope in a LaRue Tactical SPR/M4 1.93 Mount. It is a 1.1-4 Power scope that works equally well at 5yds. or at 100yds. It utilizes an illuminated dot for close in work, and has a crosshair for more precision work. The mount raises the objective lens high enough to clear a AN/PEQ-2A IR Laser/Illuminator mounted on the 12 o'clock rail (not currently mounted)

It has a Vickers VCAS sling which makes tightening or loosening the sling for transitions or going hands-on easier. The sling is mounted to a Tango Down PR-4 sling mount at the rear of the receiver, and in the integral mount at the base of the LaRue 11.0 gooseneck forearm. Troy Industries sights are mounted at front/rear. Also has an LMT sopmod stock in dark earth (or black depending on the picture)

Gear for an SBR
Some of the gear that supports these SBRs includes mostly (if not 100%) USA made products and materials. There is a wide range of gear (bags, accessories, magazines, etc) to support the AR15. Most of it imported and some of it quite inexpensive. But as they say, you get what you pay for. Our editors use only US built gear whenever possible. We not only like to support US companies, but their quality is so far superior you end up saving money even if you spend a bit more up front. US made gear keeps it's resale value and will last just about forever if treated well. |
