The Colt LE6940 Law Enforcement Carbine features a piece monolithic upper receiver with continuous rail platform. The LE 6940 is one of the newest tactical rifles from Colt. The LE6940 has a 16 inch barrel with a 1 in 7 twist. It also ships with flip up front sight gas block and 600 meter rear flip combat sight. This all black rifle looks to be of the top quality we expect from Colt.

Pretty pumped. Decided to go ahead and get the Colt LE6940 as I had been looking at the 6920. All said and done, bit the bullet and went with the rail space.Once you get used to it,it's hard to get away from.I have the M&P15T and made a top-notch "urban" rifle using all top-of-the-line access.,Ergo,Tangodown,PowerCustom,Sureshot,Magpul,Smithvortex,a Harris bipod and topped/zeroed with both the 553(su-PEQ/231)& the ACOG TAH 4x32. Having fun with and loving it. Last month also picked up a Robinson Armament XCR 5.56 Heavy Bbl. and changed out the skeletonized ACE stock for a mil spec VLTOR Basic modstock. Not Quite as clean as a folder but as little as that'll be happening, why not? Tons more comfortable anyway. Stuck the 553 on top with a Grip Pod system grip. Out front is a PWS FSC556 comp. I imagine I'll keep the Colt stock..for the most part, of course..

Would'nt be nice after spending this kind of money that Colt's would not come out with their piston gun a month later. No guarantee fellas! Maybe Colts is going to take joe consumer for a ride like Sig and their 556 variations. Hopefully were supporting Americans jobs.
