The idea was to make a easy to shoot truck gun that could also be used for shooting matches using the less expensive 9mm ammo. Since the KelTec SUB-2000 folds in half a standard inline rail on top of the barrel would not be possible. So a 45 degree rail mount was attached to the forearm for the EO Tech optic. This lets the shooter hold the SUB-2000 at a bit of an angle which is comfortable to shoot and does not affect accuracy negatively. On the opposite side of the stock a Surefire G2 light was mounted to provide light if needed. Because this SUB-2000 uses Glock 9mm magazines the Glock 18 (full auto) magazines work with this SUB-2000. The rifle can still be folded and it fits in a range bag easily for easy transport. The EO Tech optic and light do not need to be removed or adjusted to fold the SUB-2000. A great solution that works well. http://riflebuyersguide.net/Articles.php?action=detail&g=content1235461431
