BUILDING CUSTOMERS WITH FIRST SHOTS

NSSF's First Shots program, which kicked off a year ago, has made an encouraging impact on shooting range customer bases, survey results show. According to post-event surveys, ranges that have held First Shots events report they are seeing, on average, a 35 percent increase in range memberships and a 30 percent increase in training class registration that they attribute to First Shots attendees. Surveys also reveal that First Shots attendees have not only gained an understanding of local handgun requirements, but nearly all plan to pursue shooting as a future activity
