Guns and ammo and anything to do with the shooting sports are already highly taxed. And all of that money goes to preserving wildlife and the natural environment. also, a lot of it goes to the preservation of nongame species suche as eagles, sandhill cranes, etc. Also, people do have to pass a background check to buy a gun, and also have to have to pass a hunter safety course before they can hunt or shoot at any public place. So why don't you get your facts straight before you begin to spout off at the mouth and try to make yourself look good posting a quote that doesn't make sense.
